i've barely watched the west wing, but "spotting the sorkin" is an easy game. as if he is using the show to vent his wrath, to get back at his criticisers. viewers/bloggers are portrayed as pajama wearing, fat, unpopular dorky ppl who seriously need to get a life. i wonder if he still visits TWOP. well, sorkin respects neither his viewers or enemies. whenever he wants to attack someone, in order to validate his own points, he will put up these make believe characters and storylines that's totally weak, insipid, and unreal, like the reality show and the 3 bimbos, so that he would be in the safe highland.
i actually don't mind preaches sprinkled in tv series. just make it subtle, or even go to the other extreme, south parky burlesque. whatever. stuff in as many historical lessons as you want, but pls cut those stereotypes.
that said, sub-wise, s60 is still the best show outside.

i don't know why i'm work on them anyway. maybe it's escapism. filling the vacancy just so one can feel more useful, less inert, and actually needed.
i get panicky if i find the email inbox empty at the end of the day.
